Lars Altman graduated cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College Of Law, where he earned both a Pro Bono Certificate of Outstanding Achievement and a Community Service Certificate of Outstanding Achievement. While attending the Frederic G. Levin College of Law, Mr. Altman focused his efforts on attaining practical legal experience by representing indigent clients for the Virgil Hawkins Civil Clinics. In addition to his curricular activities, Mr. Altman served as a Summer Judicial Intern for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court and a Summer Law Clerk for the Florida Office of the Attorney General – Economic Crimes Division. Mr. Altman graduated from the University of Florida Warrington College of Business with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Russian Studies prior to attending law school.
Mr. Altman has experience in matters involving: brokerage disputes, maritime liens and vessel arrests, Jones Act and personal injury claims, transactions related to the purchase and sale of private vessels, and corporate registration in multiple countries.
